About us
We are the largest class in the swiss sailing sport by the number of members.
We are also the youngest, dedicated to children between 5 and 15 years.
We promote sailing at every level: starting sailing, starting regattas and the top level (national team).

The Swiss Optimist Committee has decided to extend the registration period for the 2026 selection until day before the begin of the first selection regatta, that is the 5th March. Sailor registering after the initial deadline of the 15th February may not receive a lycra.

The 2026 Davos Camp will take place from 12 to 18 July.
