Description
Participation to the Swiss Optimist Selection procedure.
Registration limit: 15 February 2026 latest, (earlier than the start of the first selection regatta).
The top 5 Sailors will represent Switzerland for the World Championship (regardless of gender).
The next 7 Sailors will represent Switzerland at the European Championship (min 3 of each gender).
Preliminary participation costs:
– European Championship (Gdynia, Poland): 6000 CHF/sailor
– World Championship (Tangiers, Morocco): 7000 CHF/sailor
This includes preparation trainings, registration fee, travel costs, food and coaching.
The amounts and the program will be confirmed once the selection is definitive (after last PM 3rd May).

You will be prompted to choose the size of your lycra that every registered sailor will get (PM Thun or Estavayer). The rest of the selection fee will be used for the World Championship Team.
